LG Display and iRiver to jointly develop e-readers

LG Display and iRiver announced a $5 million partnership to manufacture e-book readers. They have started a new Chinese company (called L&I Electronic Technology) - which will use iRiver as the platform and product designer, and LG Display will provide the e-paper (E Ink based) displays.
