Google to launch online electronic book store - the 'Google Edition'

Google says that they will launch an online store, to sell e-books to any device with a web browse. The store will be called 'Google Editions', it will launch in 1H 2010 and will offer around 500,000 e-books. 

The books will be bought directly from Google, or through online stores (Amazon, BarnesAndNoble.com, etc.). All the books will be searchable in the store, anyway.
