The VEB612, selling for $259 at B&H photo, seems to be a rebrand of the Astak Mentor - a 6" reader, with 512Mb of internal memory and an SD Card reader. It weights 175 grams and supports TXT, ePUB, PDF and more text formats. It's got a 400Mhz CPU and runs Linux 2.6. It also includes a SuDoKu game.
