Notion Ink to hold a $1 million application competition for the Adam

Notion Ink has sent some new renders of their Adam E-Reader / tablet, and released some new information. They claim to have around 20-30 hours of battery life, and capable of 1080p HD video. It has a Pixel-Qi display that can be used to extend battery life even further and act like an e-reader.  Notion Ink are actually considering two versions of  the Adam, we're not sure what the difference will be (beside one being 12.9mm thick and the other 11.6mm).

Notion Ink are planning content partnership and the Adam will have digital magazines, eBooks and comics from 'significant publishers'. They are also planning an Apps Competition to encourage developers to write special software for the Adam. It will have over $1 million in prizes!
