KDDI's solar-powered e-reader to cost $19 a month and launch by Christmas

KDDI announced the price of its solar-powered biblio Leaf SP02: it will cost ¥1,575 (about $19) per month (with a 2-year contract) and ¥525 up front (only $6). It will launch by Christmas day.

The biblio Leaf has a 6" touch (stylus) E Ink e-reader with 2GB of internal memory (plus a microSD slot), Wi-Fi, 3G and a small solar-panel on the front.
