Netronix is working towards new e-readers using Google's Android OS

Taiwan's Netronix is working (together with TI) towards e-readers using Google's Android platform. They expect shipments to top one million units in 2010. Netronix is already shipping e-readers in the rate of 30,000-60,000 a month.

The e-readers will be able to communicate with Android mobile phones, and will also include 3G modules.
