Barnes & Noble to soon release a major software update for the NookBarnes & Noble will soon release a major software update for the Nook, which will include faster page turning, better search, customized library organization and password protection. In addition it will add the ability to sync your reading progress across all Nook-enabled devices. The update to v1.5 will be available for free towards the end of October.
The Nook comes in two versions: A Wi-Fi only costs $149. And the 3G/Wi-Fi version costs $199. Via PCMag
