Barnes & Noble new Nook to be an Android-based color tablet?

A couple of days ago we reported that Barnes & Noble is hosing a special event on October 26th, and might release a new Nook. Now there are rumors that this next-gen device will be an Android-based Nook Tablet, with a full-color 7" touch screen. It will be called Nook Color and will cost $249. It's not clear what kind of display they'll use, perhaps it'll be a call e-paper, Mirasol or Pixel-Qi?
