Barnes & Noble eReader iPhone application got over 1 million downloads

Barnes & Noble say that over 1 million people downloaded their eReader applications for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. The eReader is one of the most popular applications in the iTunes books category. 

B&N has two applications. The first is the eReader, which allows users an easy access to B&N's eBook store, buy books and access over half a million of free books. The second application is the Bookstore app which lets users browse bestselling books, check events for B&N stores, find the closest shop, and use the camera to snap a photo of a book's cover and retrieve book details, ratings, reviews and more.
