The kindle is a electronic book reader from Amazon. It downloads book via an EVDO/CDMA wireless network and includes 2GB of memory (and an SD slot). Amazon now sells many titles directly to the Kindle. 
The kindle is linux based, has a QWERTY keyboard and is run by an ARM-11 processor. In February 2009, Amazon released the Kindle 2. The Kindle 1 is still available for 240$. |
