Amazon drops the price of the Kindle to $189Amazon is quick to respond to B&N's Nook price drop (or is that the other way around?) - and now the Kindle costs just $189 (down from $259). This is true for both the US version and the international one.  Amazon Kindle 2The Kindle DX still costs $489, by the way.
